57th NATIONAL USHERS CONVENTION GUIDELINES FOR VENDORS Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Fresno, CA May 10 -13, 2012 VENDOR COST: $200.00 per six-foot length
or equivalent space § All merchandise sold must be religious in
nature § Days of operation: Thursday May 10 thru
Saturday May 12, 2012 § Vendors will not operate during Worship Service § Vendor area must be kept neat at all times § Aisles and walkways must be clear of
merchandise and debris § Tables will be issued on a FIRST COME basis All vendors must display proper identification
badges provided by the National Association of the Church of God

REQUIREMENTS On a separate page type an essay indicating why
you feel you should receive a scholarship from the National Association of
the Church of God Ushers. Please limit
your essay to one (1) typed page. Please
submit a letter of recommendation from your Local Usher President, State
Usher President, and your Pastor. If
you hold either of these offices, your Vice President(s) must prepare a
letter to be submitted with your application. NO APPLICATION WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THE REQUESTED INFORMATION. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Each applicant’s state must submit a minimum of
$350.00 in T-Shirt sales to be for consideration of a scholarship. If more
than one applicant applies, the total sales for that state must increase by

GUIDELINES Deadline:
April 1st (no exceptions)
1.
Student must submit a new application each academic year. 2.
The applicant must usher at least two services at an annual convention
of the NACOG (Ushers Convention, Men’s Convention, West Middlesex, WCG
Convention, Joint Convention or NIYC). 3.
Letter of recommendation/reference is REQUIRED from Pastor and Local
Usher President 4.
Each applicant (applicant’s state) must submit a minimum of $350.00
in Tee Shirt sales to be eligible for consideration of a scholarship. If more
than one applicant applies, the total sales for that state must be
incremented by $350.00 per applicant. 5.
The applicant must submit an essay indicating why he/she feels they
are worthy to receive to scholarship award. 6.
Proof of acceptance (incoming college freshman); or proof of
registration (continuing student) is required. 7.
Two (2) $500.00 Scholarship awards will be issued annually. 8.
Awards will be issued to the first two applicants that meet ALL
required criteria. 9.
Applications will be accepted January 1st of each
calendar year for the upcoming Fall Semester. 10.
Application Deadline is April 1st (no exceptions). |
